New York City Marathon 2015: Stanley Biwott Wins Men’s Race

Over 50,000 runners started out at the 44th annual
TCS New York City Marathon, but only one could
walk away as the winner of the men’s race. Stanley
Biwott of Kenya beat last year’s winner, Wilson
Kipsang, with a time of 2 hours, 10 minutes and 34
seconds. Congrats, Stanley!
Last year’s champ Wilson Kipsang of Kenya was back to
defend his New York City Marathon title in the big race, but was
edged out by Kenya’s Stanley Biwott. This is Stanley’s first
major marathon win after placing second at the London
Marathon in 2014. What a win!
