“At Enugu Airport yesterday, after I had checked in and went to take
a cup of coffee and water inside a restaurant. I had no choice since
Arik had delayed our Abuja flight.
As I was taken my N200 coffee majestically and as if I am the
owner of the airport, I felt the presence of someone at my back. I
looked back, it was Dbanj in Agbada with no cap but with a big
neck chain to match, in company of 2 other guys. I stood up and
greeted him, he took a selfie and I also did and then he went to take
a seat elsewhere, had a similar thing to what I took with some liitle
baked things.
Arik delayed us for one hour and eventually announced boarding
thereafter. Once again, I walked majestically to the economy class
while Dbanj had his seat at the business class. I was lucky to sit in
the next seat after Business class seats. The air hostesses were all
over Dbanj, even took him to the the pilot…….Ori mi wu but what will
I do? E no easy to be a star. I no even get good voice, my voice be
like masquerade own!!!
But I no jealous at all. Dbanj was so humble and too friendly. He
simplified it for everyone, making everybody to feel important.
However, one Igbo woman sat with me, she was complaining
and feeling uncomfortable. “Who is he, is he Michael Jackson??”
LOL.
Immediately we landed(35mins journey), the woman stood up
quickly and went to Dbanj….she asked him “are u dbanj?” “Yes
ma, good day ma..” he replied.
Then the woman went wild…shouting “Dbanj Dbanj, how could you
greet me like that, my last born is older than you if you don’t
know.”….the hostesses tried to caution her……then dbanj looked
back, saw a space, and prostrated for her, “madam I’m very sorry
ma, I don’t mean to be rude.”…..
Do you know that the woman was still raking…”are u not
Yoruba? Yorubas are very respectful and cultured, they don’t
talk to people anyhow, you don’t greet me like that, you know
who I am?” “What do you want from me ma, I said I’m
sorry”…..Dbanj said and quickly departed, the woman wanted to
go but the hostesses politely told her that it is not time for
economy class departure.
Then the woman looked for for trouble once more……she looked
at me and I looked at her, she saw anger in my face….. “and
what’s wrong with you?”, “I just dey pity you madam..” I said.
“Pity who? You don’t insult me because you will regret if you do.
Just try it.”she said. ” I will make sure you don’t sleep with your
family this weekend…If you are not locked up throughout this
weekend…..” I threatened(shakara). The woman kept quiet, a lot of
people were giving me encouraging face.
Now inside the airport bus taking us to departure lounge….. she was
just looking at me, not knowing what will happen.
Nothing happened eventually, I helplessly let go. But really, she
almost made Dbanj feel bad. May God save us from such
people.

Michael Jones, 44, was held after reports that he had assaulted his wife at their home and fired a gun at her.
But when police began investigating, they were tipped off that they should search the family's backyard for the decomposing remains of their missing son.
The next day, human remains were found at a barn on their property in Wyandotte County.
Former babysitters for the family say several people contacted the Kansas Department for Children and Families with concerns about the children.
The seven other children are believed to be safe and in protective custody.
A police source said investigators fear the remains are the result of the child being fed to pigs after being beaten to death. The remains have yet to be identified.

Woman to be stoned to death for adultery, while man gets 100 lashes

The married 45-year-old woman, originally from Sri Lanka, was
working as a maid in Riyadh and was convicted of adultery in
August.
But her partner, who was single and also from Sri Lanka, was
given a punishment of 100 lashes after being found guilty of the
same offence.
Upul Deshapriya, spokesman for the Foreign Employment
Bureau said:
"She has accepted the crime four times in the courts.
"But the Foreign Employment Bureau has hired lawyers and have
appealed against the case.The appeal is going on. Also from the

Shocking : Microfinance Bank Seizes Couple ’s Property Over 4000 Naira Debt
It was a sad experience for Segun Adeyemi after he discovered that
his belongings were carted away by a micro finance bank over a
N4,000 debt owed by his wife in Lagos State, western Nigeria.
The incident happened at their residence at 3, Adeyeye street,
Megida area of Ayobo Ipaja on the outskirts of Lagos.
We learnt that among the items the bank carted away include their
matrimonial bed, plasma television, refrigerator, generator, cooking
utensils, cash and other valuables kept in the house.
According to Segun, his wife Remilekun Adeyemi, who is a petty
trader, went to the management of Bisi Cash Micro Finance Bank
whose office is located at Onifade Road Junction in Ayetoro, Ogun
State and borrowed N40,000 to start a business.
He said before she was given the loan, the management first
deducted their own interest from the loan and gave her the balance.
We also gathered that Remilekun also entered into an agreement to
be remitting some amount of the money every week untill she
finished paying back the entire loan.
We also learnt that once a loan beneficiary defaults, all such
person’s property will be consficated, which is the fate Remilekun
has suffered along with her husband.
According to her, she had been dutifully paying the money until it
remained N4,300 balance last week.
She said she was unable to pay last week after their son fell sick
and was rushed to a hospital.
While she was on her way to the hospital, the management of the
bank invaded their home and carted away all their household items.
When Segun went to the management to know why they did so, they
told him that his wife breached the agreement.
They told him that he was also liable because he knew about the
loan and stood as surety for his wife.
When he offered to pay the money in order to take back his
belongings, they refused and claimed that the property now
belonged to them.
When our reporter went to their office on Thursday, the staff
confirmed the incident and said it was part of the agreement the
woman entered with them.
Efforts to contact the manager identified as Shade failed as she
refused to speak on what transpired.
She said they seized the property because of the debt she owed the
bank.
Our investigation revealed that it was not only Segun and his wife
that have found themselves in such predicament. Many other
women whose belongings were seized were seen in the bank
premises bemoaning their plight.
Fraud in Church: EFCC arrests ‘Pastor’ For N200m fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested one Jonathan Ibinabo Alatoru, a self-acclaimed pastor and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Chemtronics Nigeria Limited, for conspiracy, forgery and
obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of N200 million. The suspect, who had earlier jumped the administrative bail granted him by the Commission, was arrested by operatives of EFCC in a sting operation on Thursday, November 26, 2015, in Abuja. The 55-year-old suspect had been awarded a contract by the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Abuja for the construction of a skill acquisition centre at Igualeba, Orhiomwon LGA, in Edo State, to the tune of N1.7billion. The contract, which was supposed to be completed within a year, was, however, terminated in 2011 when he could not complete the structure 18 months after. However, the suspect allegedly approached Sterling Bank Plc with some documents purported to have emanated from the Ministry to secure a N200 million bank facility.
In fulfillment of the requirements to obtain the bank facility, the suspect allegedly presented both the Certificate of Occupancy, C of O, of a property located in the G.R.A., Ikeja area of Lagos and another mortgage agreement letter as collateral in 2012. The investigation, however, revealed that both documents belong to the late Vice-Admiral Babatunde Elegbede, a former military Governor of Cross Rivers State, who died in 1994. According to the complainant, the suspect also allegedly presented a forged domiciliation payment letter, stating that the proceeds of the contract should be remitted to the bank for the servicing of the loan. It was also discovered that the suspect allegedly connived with one Ndubuisi Egbe Unah, who is currently facing trial before a Federal High Court, Abuja, and some staff of the bank to perpetrate the alleged fraud. Photo : Herbalist Kidnaps 2 Underage Girls, Turns Them Into S - ex Slaves In Cross River State
2 stolen kids that were rescued by the Cross River State Police
Command on Thursday said they were made sex slaves by a
herbalist, Emmanuel Akpan-Okon, who held them hostage for four
years.
The kids, Esther Wisdom and Felicia Destiny, both aged 11, said in
the four years that they were held hostage, the herbalist raped them
almost every day.
42-year-old Akpan-Okon was arrested by the police following a tip-
off that he specialised in the preparation of charms for armed
robbers.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Henry Fadairo, said the
rescued kids were abducted from their parents separately from
Onitsha, Anambra State, and Auchi, Edo State.
He said, “On November 16, 2015, we raided one Emmanuel Akpan’s
home in Akamkpa, in the Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross
River State, based on a tip-off. We gathered he was into the
preparation of charms for armed robbers and treatment of criminals
with bullet wounds.
“During the raid, we saw two little girls in his house. One is Esther
Wisdom and the other, Felicia Destiny. They are both 11 years. On
enquiry, we found out that they were abducted four years ago.
Wisdom was stolen from Onitsha while Destiny was stolen from
Auchi.
“We are making efforts to see how we can locate their parents. The
victims claimed that he had been having regular sex with them.”
Destiny said she was in primary four when she was abducted,
adding that the herbalist had raped her many times.
She said, “I was in primary four when he took me away from my
home. I remember that my mother lost her sister and when she was
going for the burial, she told the man, who was a commercial
motorcycle rider, to bring me to her village. That was how I found
myself living with him. I used to tell him that I did not like sex, but
he continued.”
Also, Wisdom said, “He has been having sex with us regularly.
He gives us food to eat and promises that one day he will take
us back to our mothers.”
Akpan-Okon, who is from Akwa Ibom State, said he abducted
the girls because their mothers could not cater for them.
He said, “ While staying in the same compound with Wisdom’s
mother at Onitsha, I observed that she had problems bringing up her
nine children. This girl, Wisdom, was always with me when I was
staying in their compound. So, when I wanted to leave Onitsha, I
took her with me without telling her mother.
“When I left Onitsha with her, I went to Auchi, and was riding a
commercial motorcycle as a means of livelihood. Where I stayed in
Auchi, Destiny was always coming to play with Esther. I also
noticed that Destiny’s mother had many children. So, when I wanted
to leave the town, I took her along.
“I had sex with them and I know it is bad in the sight of God. I have
a girl child who is with the mother. I will not be happy if she is
treated this way.”

Fake Pastor Using Staged Miracles To Deceive Church Members Arrested In Port Harcourt
arrested a pastor and two others for allegedly faking miracles and
healing to deceive church members and the public.
This is also as the Army has nabbed two persons, who posed as
majors in the Nigerian Army.
Parading the suspects yesterday, the Army Public Relations Officer
of the 2 Brigade, Port Harcourt, Captain Eli Lazarus, said the pastor
and his accomplices conned several members.
Lazarus stated: “We got a tip-off from a member of the church, who
complained of immoral and fraudulent activities going on in the
church.
“The self-acclaimed pastor and his collaborators (names withheld)
were subsequently arrested and they confessed to duping
unsuspecting members of the public of various sums of money.
“The suspects also confessed of stage-managing miracles and
healing to attract members to their church located along Aluu
community close to Port Harcourt,” he said.
He said the suspects would be handed over to the police for further
investigation and possible arraignment in court.
The 27-year-old pastor and founder of the church (Revelation Power
Ministry), confessed to have paid his collaborators undisclosed
amount of money to give false testimonies. The suspect said his
church had over 100 worshippers.
In a related development, two fake military officers, Fabian Enudi
(39) and Samuel Agaga (38), from Delta and Bayelsa states, were
arrested separately dressed in full army uniform with ranks of major.
